Life with a 1st Grader!

Madison is loving 1st grade - NOW! When she first started, the all day thing threw her for a loop! Then she found out that none of her "friends" from Kindergarten were in her class! To top off the beginning of first grade, she was placed at a table with 2 BOYS - not her idea of a good time! Then of course I end up sick, so the first few weeks were very trying. She came home last week, and declared she was going to do the "HAPPY DANCE", because one boy was moving from her table, and Coleen was going to be sitting there instead. Now that she is not out numbered, she is much more content. She is flying through all the homework she is given without much effort, interims just came home, and she scored above the expectations in all categories except handwritting - my little lefty will have the practice a little more!
